In light of the new EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), which will enter into force on 25 May 2018, we would like to provide you with information about our Integrity Policy and the personal data from you that we process so that we are able to communicate with you.
When do we process personal data?
Personal data is information such as name, email adress, telephone nr, that can be used to link to and identify an individual.
SMAKY processes and collects personal data when you:
-Register your contact details on our website.
-Order our products; ask us to send you information, quotations on our products; via email or telephone.
Registered data and how it is used.
When a representative from a company places an order, asks for product and price information about our products, or asks to be contacted by us, the name, telephone number and email adress of the company representative is registered, along with the company´s adress, VAT-nr; telephone and email adress.
The data is registered in our customer register and is used for the administration of ordered products, invoicing administration, follow ups on inquiries, customer service , after sales service and marketing.
Reasons for using your personal data
When we process personal data for the purposes explained in this notice, we do so strictly because of our legitimate interest to maintain business relations and communications with you as a business contact.
How we may share the information we collect
Only those persons who need to process personal data for the purposes mentioned above have access to your personal data.
We do not sell, or distribute your personal data to third party.
We may, in some cases, need to share your personal information with our suppliers, such as freight company representatives for arranging deliveries, or for processing after sales service.
Storage
Your personal data will be saved for the purposes mentioned above for as long as we continue our business relations and for as long as it is necessary for us to be able to fullfill our business commitments.
Security
We employ appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data we have against loss and to guard against access by unauthorized persons. However, it is always a risk to reveal personal data on internet and no technical systems are completely safe from infringement.
Your choices and rights
Your inquiries and comments are always welcome. You have the right to know what personal data
we process about you and you may request a copy. You are also entitled to have incorrect personal data about you corrected and you may in some cases ask to have your data deleted or to be removed from our registry.
If you are dissatisfied with how we process your personal data, you have the right to report this to the Swedish Data Inspection Board, which is the regulatory body for processing personal data.
